Micropigmentation
is extensively used in the medical profession to give aesthetically
pleasing results to unwanted conditions. Some people can be deeply and
emotionally affected by their condition, causing them to feel embarrassed,
depressed or worried about how others will react.
The change
of appearance that can be created by Micropigmentation can greatly affect
a persons overall psyche giving them back their confidence and self-esteem.
Vitiligo
– Vitiligo is an acquired skin disorder of white patches as result
in loss of pigment. These areas can be cleverly ‘coloured’
or camouflaged with Micropigmentation.
Nipple
/ Areola Art – Some ladies require this procedure to
simply enhance the colour of their existing nipples and areolas or wish
to have their areolas appear larger. Other ladies who have had or are
about to have nipple reconstruction with a surgeon are required to have
a thorough consultation with me to discuss each individuals needs and
various techniques of Micropigmentation enhancement.
Scars
– (See Skin Needling page) If after having Skin Needling sessions
and seeing improvements with scars but a loss of pigmentation is still
visible, then the particles can be cleverly camouflaged with Micropigmentation.
Alopecia Art – (See Skin Needling page) a hair
stroke method can be skilfully applied to simulate eyebrows in a person
who has lost all facial hair.
A consultation
