What is Skin Needling?
Skin Needling is a natural skin rejuvenation method that fills and softens fine lines and wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. It can also help Alopecia, Burns, Raised Scars and Port Wine Stain.
It does not use fillers, injections, lasers, chemical peels or gimmicks and is not Acupuncture.
Age reversal is an ongoing science through different mediums such as Dermabrasion, Lasers and Skin Peels, all of which can cause scarring and pigmentation problems. Skin Needling focuses on kick starting your own skin renewal process.
How does it Work?
The process of Skin Needling creates hundreds of microscopic ‘pin pricks, to activate the bodys own healing process. As your skin heals, your own new Collagen and Elastin is formed.
Collagen is what gives us the plump youthful look we all had as a youngster and this fills in the ‘valleys’ of wrinkles, fine lines and scars naturally by plumping them from the bottom up without the use of anything artificial.
Elastin is what gives us the firmness and smoothness, improving the overall appearance of the skin – Arguably the best facial in the world!
How is it performed and does it hurt?
It is NOT necessary to ‘prep’ the skin prior to the day of the procedure. Firstly your skin will be numbed with a topical anaesthetic cream to provide minimal discomfort, groups of sterile needles will be inserted into the skin at a depth of just 1mm on the whole face. Problem areas e.g. Crows Feet are then concentrated on (each client will have their own disposable needles).
My treatment is unique in that along with the Skin Needling a very enriched Nutrient Oil is delivered in to the skin allowing vitamins and bee pollen extract to penetrate into the deeper layers bringing life to dry cells and aiding skin rejuvenation. Each client is provided with a bottle to take home and continue using during the healing process (at no extra cost!)
